My Dear Supporters,
It has been a devastating couple of months for my Brothers and Sisters around the world. Like many, my heart has been left broken after the events that occurred in Christchurch. But despite our grief, we united. Billions of people around the globe came together and made peace despite the dark times we face.
Yet, the events in Christchurch happen every day in Afghanistan, and I fear the blood that is shed is ignored. During my last visit to Afghanistan, 92 bombs exploded in one day during election time. The concerning amount of widows and orphans in Afghanistan has increased in the past 3 years due to the frequency of these attacks. Unfortunately, we rarely hear about these attacks and the dire consequences they have on innocent people.
This End of Financial Year, look into your hearts and make a kind donation to the orphans and widows in Afghanistan. Christchurch is in the mind and heart of us all. Let’s not forget Afghanistan.

Widow's Rice Bag
Purchase rice bags for Widows and their families this EOFY. One bag of rice is 25kg, and is enough the feed a family of 10, twice a day, for a month.

Widow's Home Project
There are many widows and their children that live in potent conditions in Afghanistan. Gulshan and her six children are one of these families. Their house does not have a toilet, meaning they have to wait until night time to go by the side of the house. When people lack basic toilet facilities, diseases spread and waterways become polluted fast.
Help us improve the living conditions of Gulshan and her children.
Help Build Tiyayee School
Tiyayee is in one of the most remote places in all of Afghanistan. Located in the deepest corner of Badakhshan Province, this village doesnt even have a school. In the next financial year, we plan to build one for the 30+ children that live in the village. Education is essential, even in the most hardest to reach areas.

Our Badakhshan Hope House is in the final stages of construction. We are doing some final fundraising to purchase essential interior items, such as beds, kitchen appliances, desks and learning materials.
