Families from the Kuran and Munjan districts of Afghanistan were recently forced to flee their homes to escape Taliban attack. Many people were critically injured, with some losing their lives. There are now over 300 refugee families living within a camp, in a remote region of Panjshir Province. These families are without food and clean drinking water, living in unfurnished tents.
Temperatures in Panjshir Province can drop to -15 degrees in the winter, with more than 13 days of snowfall per month. These harsh conditions will make life even more difficult for these refugees, who have nothing but tents to shelter themselves from the snow.
These refugee families are in desperate need of basic supplies such as food, warm clothing, medication, coal and safe drinking water. If you wish to help these families, you can do so by donating. Your donations will help provide these men, women and children with the supplies they need to survive the winter.
