Chickens

You can give chickens to a widow in Afghanistan. A chicken will improve the diet of her family with protein-rich eggs to eat. The widow may even be able to sell a few eggs for cash. We will also help the widow by teaching her animal health and good practice.

Chickens are given as part of a community development program. Each year we provide widows with chickens and these cards help us fund this activity; any balance of funds will be put towards our Widow Outreach program.
