Sheep

Your gift of a sheep will delight an impoverished widow. She will have milk and cheese for her family, wool to spin, dung for fertilizer and the fire and she may even generate a surplus and be able to barter or raise some cash.

A sheep is given as part of a community development program. It requires a bit of planning to make sure there is animal health support, shelter and winter fodder available. We select widows and encourage them by providing two ewes each. These cards help us fund this activity; any balance of funds will be put towards our permaculture training programs.
