Tree or Shrub

You can give a tree to Afghanistan. We give trees and shrubs to local communities who want better environments. Trees improve air and soil quality; they can prevent erosion, provide fuel and wood, create animal habitat and shade for livestock. Fruit and nut trees can give families a cash crop. Afghanistan lost 50% of its trees in the conflicts of the last twenty years!

The trees will be planted as part of a Permaculture or community development program. Each year these cards help us fund this activity; any balance of funds will be put towards our Permaculture training program.
