Mahboba travelled to the Bega Valley for a few days in May to visit some beautiful friends of Mahboba’s Promise.
Mahboba’s Promise started Open Heart, Open Home, an initiative focused on building bridges between communities and increasing racial tolerance.

On International Women’s Day, Mahboba Rawi was interviewed by 2SER 107.3 FM. Mahboba’s Promise was established to help women and children in Afghanistan have a better life.
The 2017 school year is fast approaching for the children of Afghanistan. After a long break over the cold winter, children head back to classes at the end of March, when the heavy snow begins to melt away and spring can be felt in the air.
The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day is Be bold for Change. Mahboba’s Promise is built around bold women and men pushing for change in the lives of the people we work with to create a better, more equal world.
