Nawroz 2019

Nawroz, the Afghan New Year, brings together family and friends as they share gifts, food and happy memories. But in a country with over 2 million orphans, there will be many children who will not experience the joy of Nawroz.

How You can give joy this nawroz

Nawroz, the Afghan New Year,  is a time for celebration. Literally meaning ‘New Day’, Nawroz brings together families and friends as they share gifts, food and happy memories. As it coincides with the start of the new school year in Afghanistan, it is traditionally a time when fathers gift their children items for the upcoming school year. But in a country with over 2 million orphans, there will be many children who will not experience the celebration and joy that goes with Nawroz.

With your help, Mahboba’s Promise wants to bring joy to as many children as it can!
