The recent months have been extremely difficult for the people of Afghanistan. The general closure of markets and prevalence of COVID-19 has also impacted access to nutritious milk for babies and infants at our hope houses. The little supply of milk that is available is of an inferior quality and carries a risk of contamination. In order to avoid detrimental impact on the healthy development of babies and infants, Mahboba’s Promise wants to switch to powdered milk across all of our hope houses. However, powdered milk itself is expensive and limited in supply resulting in rationing amongst the babies of our hope houses.

With more babies entering the hope houses, we need your help to buy a steady supply of powdered milk to ensure the children continue to have a nutritious diet and a healthy development.

A generous $10 donation will provide one of our babies with enough formula to last a week. No child in the world should survive on just one scoop of powdered milk.
