Mahboba’s Promise is happy to announce that Love Marriage in Kabul will be shown on ABC.

PART 1: 11 March (Saturday) at 6PM

Love Marriage in Kabul follows the incredible journey of Australian-Afghan, Mahboba Rawi, the founder of Mahboba’s Promise, as she passionately negotiates and challenges old traditions to make a love marriage happen in Kabul.

The film has won or been nominated for numerous awards including, winner of audience award in Sydney Film Festival, finalist of the Walkley Awards for Excellence in Journalism, winner of best documentary award in Canberra International Film Festival and in the official Selection of Melbourne International Film Festival and Festival International de Programmes Audiovisuels.

Love Marriage in Kabul is directed by Iranian-Australian director, Amin Palangi.
