900 families near our Kabul Hope House orphanage are in desperate need of our help.
Our short-term and immediate goal is to raise $135,000. This will provide families with Food, Water, Shelter, and Basic needs for 3 months.
Your brothers and sisters in Afghanistan need your help in their time of need.The recent devastating escalation of violence in Kabul and in the northeast regions has forced families to flee their homes in desperate search of safety. The fighting and devastation is spreading like wild fire forcing women, children and families to abandon their homes and possessions.
When families flee the terror, they often have no choice but to escape quickly, with very few or no possessions and leaving behind the livelihoods upon which they rely.
In search of safety, families are left without access to food, shelter and essential items we take for granted. Please help us support the innocent victims caught in the cross-fire.
Mahboba’s Promise Response
Mahboba’s Promise teams in and around Kabul have adopted an emergency response to help 900 displaced families that have set up a makeshift camp just 15km from our orphanage in Kabul. We are on the ground and providing emergency shelter, cooking, and hygiene essentials, to help families by providing food and other necessities. But we need your support to reach more and do more for families.
Your donations will go a long way for a long time and make an immediate impact
For $150 dollars we can provide food, shelter , water, clothes and sandals for one family for three months. Reaching our target goal of $135,000 will ensure we:
Set up 40 large tents at the camp to house families in need
Supply a shared large water tank on the camp - to allow children and families access to clean drinking water
Provide bread and basic food daily for families
Supply each person sandals and a change of clothes
